Hello everyone! In the president' remark, he took up the topic of Japan’s victory over the German national team in FIFA World Cup soccer game. Just like the strong teams have to have more than one super star, we need to have a great reservoir of knowledge of English if we want to be a great speaker in the true sense of the word. It’s not enough to be able to comprehend English when it is spoken, nor enough to have a good grammar or pronunciation. You’ve got to have an all-round skill as far as languages are concerned.

Prepared Speech
1) When can we stop wearing a mask?: SM Takahata
Three years have passed since COVID-19 started to spread in many countries including Japan. There's no end in sight for the end. However, mask-wearing is not required in many countries, as shown by the audience in the stadium of the Soccer World Cup in Quatar. On the other hand, almost all Japanese people still keep mask on. She showd that there's growing evidence that masks could affect child development. She said mask-wearing is effective for prevention of infection, however it is time for thinking its negative effect.
2) Pakistan-Japan relations: SM Kakisu
Pakistan became independent from British India in 1947. At that time, Japan was industrializing for postwar reconstruction and promoting exports of cotton products. Japan, with its scarce resources, did not produce the cotton needed to manufacture cotton products. Negotiations were held with cotton exporting countries around the world. However, because Japan was an enemy of World War II, none of them would allow cotton exports. Pakistan, which had just gained independence, exported cotton to Japan over objections from other countries. At that time, Toyota Motor Corporation and Suzuki Motor Corporation succeeded in developing looms, and Japanese industry started to industrialize, earning foreign currency through the manufacture and export of cotton products.
Today, Toyota Motor Corporation and Suzuki Motor Corporation are both major exporters of cars to the world. He said if Pakistan had not exported cotton to Japan, Japan would not have succeeded in industrialization. He would like to thank Pakistan for contributing to the development of Japan's industrialization.
