SMC's In-person meeting, which is scheduled once every two weeks, was held on the last Saturday. As usual, we exchanged knowledge and information with each other, so it was a productive meeting.

SM K. Narisawa served as the Coordinator.

1) "Ukraine" [SM Kaneko]

He was planning to speak about the current dire situation in Ukraine. But after referring to the beauties - beautiful women or pretty girls - in Ukraine, his speech turned its direction. It started with the topic of the recent death of handsome Showa star, Saigoh Teruhiko san, and ended with that of young beautiful Enka singer, Tatsumi Yuhto san. And he forgot to tell the most important thing. Stop the war!


2) "How to get a good idea" [SM Noro]

Referring to the essay by Toyama Shigehiko, he was enlightened by his 4 aphorisms.

1. Don't be spoiled by knowledge

2. Find a compound

3. A watched pot never boils.

4. The best idea comes to mind when being on a horse, or a bed or a toilet.


3) Excellent performance of Japan's women's curling team [SM Takahata]

She talked about the excitement and joy created by the performance of Japan's women's curling team, Loco Solare in the Beijin Olympics. She was impressed to see that they were giving encouragement with each other when anyone of them made a mistake while keeping smile. And she added that analytic approach, such as employment of performance analyst for the national team, would be required toward the next Olympics.
