Here are minutes of the ZOOM meeting held on June 21.

SM Takahata served as the Coordinator.

A person named Teru Ooyagi attended the meeting for the first time. Ooyagi san is a coworker of SM K. Narisawa. At the beginning of the meeting, the attendees exchanged self-introductions.

In the small talk, the attendees exchanged an update of their interests. SM Ooyagi talked about the film he watched, “Father”. He said the British film’s story centers around an old man who is suffering from dementia. SM K. Narisawa added another story of a film in which the protagonist's symptoms progressed, to the point where he often got lost.

SM Takahata shared us with her experience of watching musical, Les Miserables that is being staged at Imperial Theatre. Surprisingly, she said that the musical was staged in a fully occupied theatre.

SM Koizumi shared with us that he was getting the first vaccination shot. SM Yu. Narisawa introduced the phrase “spaced out” which an ALT often used when he relaxed. SM Yo. Narisawa showed us a free-ticket issued by the municipality of Aikawa town. The tickets were issued in order to boost its local economy, she said.

<Which do you like better, ramen or udon?> (SM Koizumi)

The speaker said that he prefers ramen to udon though he realizes ramen may be unhealthy. On the other hand, he said that he has udon tickets for Magugame udon. SM K. Narisawa added his preference of udon texture, explaining that he hates soft texture.

<What are some things about your eating habits you want to change? >(SM K. Narisawa)

The speaker’s focal point was acquired taste, saying that until high school days he didn’t eat many sweets. However, in his college life he came to often order sweets at a café. And recently he sometimes goes to convenient stores for sweets, he said.

<If I gave you 100,000 yen and told you that you had to spend it today, what would you buy? > (SM Yu. Narisawa)

The speaker insisted that he would like to spend all that money on eating sweets at a gorgeous hotel alone to his heart's content!

<What color do you like best? >

<What were you afraid of most in your childhood? >(SM Yamazaki)

The speaker talked about his experiences of his childhood, saying that he often spotted snakes on his way to and from the elementary school. Afraid of seeing snakes, once he spotted a snake on a road ahead he was unable to go through the road, and instead he walked around the road, he said.

During the meeting there were some problems with connection, with some members being unable to get access to the system. Also after screenshots were taken twice, some attendees’ videos froze up. So it can be said that the act of taking a screenshot is blamed. Next time, there should be another way of taking photo, for example taking photos by a cell phone or taking screenshots at the very end of the meeting.
