The speaker introduced the news of the highest temperature of the world, 130F (54.4C) in Death Valley National Park, California. He also shared his experiences at Las Vegas where he’d enjoyed walking even at a high temperature of 40C, and at a cold storage warehouse where he’d worked part-time with his nose hair frozen instantly. After showing the opposite extremes, he asked us, “Which do you prefer?” The speech was full of humor and we enjoyed very much.

2) My childhood memories (SM Yo. Narisawa)

The speaker shared memories of her good old days in her childhood especially in summer; swimming in the river without an adult around, playing with her sister in a mosquito net before bedtime. Under a strained atmosphere due to COVID19, her speech reminded us of our good old days when the time passed slowly.

3) My ideal pillow (SM Takahata)

The speaker talked about the importance of pillow for good sleep and explained that she took a lot of time and money to find a pillow that suits her best for a long time. Surprisingly, the ideal pillow she finally found was sold in a book store as a magazine.
