Hello everyone!

It was quite while since all the regular members got together !

It's the first time since this past February - for the first time in four months !

All the members attended the meeting with different masks that showed each person's unique individuality.

SM Noro and SM Yo. Narisawa served as the Coordinator and the Lecturer respectively.

Lecturer

"Let's do a crossword puzzle" (SM Yo. Narisawa)

Table Topic Speech

. What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?

. What is your most memorable summer vacation?

Prepared Speech

"Paradise"(Yu. Narisawa)

The speaker talked about his junior school life including school bakery that seemed a little expensive to him at that time.

"Distance"(SM Kaneko)

The speaker took up a variety of words with a focus on ones associated with the restriction period. He quoted a senryu (humorous or ironical haiku) meaning "Don't come closer !" that seems to be addressed to a husband.

"My stay-at home life"(SM Takahata)

The speaker took up a matter relevant to the new normal. She said the most striking new thing in life is living with her husband, who is usually stationed overseas. Anyway she managed to maintain her life independent life from her husband.

"Why being 50% of a perfectionist is OK" (K. Narisawa) Thanks to coronavirus, the speaker came to get acquainted with some English speaking people. The speaker said the degree of understanding depends on the speed and pronunciation of their English. He noted in his speech that "We are all like retirees, so to speak, who are entitled to enjoy life. We should rather enjoy English, shouldn't we ?"

An American living in my neck of the woods . I couldn't make heads or tails of what she was talking about.

"New Life Style with Coronavirus"(SM Koizumi)

Through the stay-home period, he said he enjoyed walking around his neighborhood, and gradually extended walking distance for better views and he went higher and higher. The speaker emphasized his new style giving him a chance to realize real value in life !

"Gift"(SM Yamazaki)

Like some members, the speaker also took up an experience of taking a rare chance to watch a legacy drama that was originally broadcast 25 years ago.
