4月13日（土）小山公民館でのSMCを報告します。

英文読解問題に取り組みました。

“Dramatic structure” (Noroさん)

文章の起承転結(Introduction, Development, Transition, Conclusion)を具体的文章の事例で紹介していただきました。

“My motivation to study English hard” (Yo. Narisawaさん)

英語を学び始めた中学1年の時、1通の葉書が間違って配達され、それが英語で書かれていた。その意味を知りたくて、英語の先生に見せて内容を教えてもらったというエピソードが印象に残りました。

“Olympics coming” (Koizumiさん)

2020東京オリンピックのボランティアに登録しているKoizumiさん。その説明会、またそこで知り合ったスタッフメンバー同士の交流の様子をお話しいただきました。まだ先だと思っていたオリンピックが、もうすぐそこにと感じました。

“New era name”(Kanekoさん)

新元号「令和」に決定にかかわることをお話しになりました。メンバーから賛否両論、元号そのものに合理性が見いだせないなど議論が広がりました。

“I love Asahi Shimbun!” (Yamazaki)

最近、新聞を購読する人が急激に減ってきている状況に、個人的にとても憂慮しています。最近の新聞記事からちょっと感動したエピソードをスピーチしました。
