こんにちは。Yamazakiです。11月11日のSMCを報告します。K. Narisawaさん、Y. Narisawaさん、Kanekoさん、Yamazakiの4名の参加でした。ConductorはKanekoさん、LecturerはK.Narisawaさんでした。

（私の会場の連絡ミスでHirabayashiさんは参加できませんでした。本当に申し訳ありませんでした）

◆ Lecture

大学入試問題単語・熟語選択問題でした。

- As soon as she got home, she set about preparing lunch. (set about= began) - Her essays (leave) nothing to be desired. She is one of the greatest writers of the century. - Don’t (leave) the water running. It is important not to waste water. - He took four months’ (leave) after working very hard for six months.

- What do you think about young generations today? - Which do you prefer winter or summer? - What are you doing in 2020?

◆ Prepared Speech

- "What is the difference between a person who can and a person cannot?" (Y. Narisawa)

高校時代の選択科目での音楽の「聴音」の成績についての苦い思い出の話から、日々取り組んでいられる英語の発音向上への取り組みに話が転じたスピーチでした。

- "Lifetime coincidence" (Yamazaki)

昔の同僚の名前と写真を35年ぶりに偶然に発見したことと、静岡県立大学のエッセイ英作文のテーマ（「自分が住んでいる地域を宣伝する」に取り組んでのエッセイを織り込みました。
